So, Rock Band 3 is out, and it’s great. One of the new features I’ve been most excited about is the keyboard, which is an actual MIDI keyboard with a 2 octave range. So the first thing I try to do is go straight into pro keys and try to play a couple of songs. I didn’t expect to do well, since it will take some time to get used to sight reading the pro keyboard charts, but it was still fun to try. It’s almost like picking up Guitar Hero for the first time — I need to start with the easy songs and work up from there.
